I am a technology news junky and read as much trade magazines and on-line technical news as my spare time allows me. Very often, I observe a particular stock trades at a higher premium on the day of a new product introduction, a new break through or even a demo of the technology at a trade show. I have been sharing these information with my friends and now I have decided to distribute these through the web.

One interesting example is the recent announcement of Sony's using the Rambus Rdram for their next generation play station. In the last week of Februray, a business article written by a stock analyst mentioned Sony may use Rambus memory. That article also noted Sony would announce the memory selection on March 2, 1999. Yet Sony announced the architecture and memory selection in one of the technical seminar/trade show. On March 2 1999 Rambus stock did jumped about three points.

I am not trying to predict the future. But this kind of coincidence is difficult for me to ignore.

I cannot always share all the news I am aware of because of my direct or indirect involvement with some of the technological developments. All the information I dissimulate here are public information.
